Dawn of the Planets of the Apes trailer analysis

When I watched the trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes I noticed that it did not include any of the director/producer/stars names, the reason for this could be that the director/producer from the first movie still holds the new movie that would be released soon as the movie is a sequel.

From the beginning of the trailer it was very peaceful with an establishing shot of the wild forest with a piano instrumental playing in the background. Once the humans found the apes the climax of the movie started to build, 43 seconds into the trailer the plot begins.
With the music cut this forebodes the next scene which usually means something terrible is about to happen.
The exposition of the movie is given through the cinematography, dialogue, captions and music as they give the important background information about the story.

In the trailer I did not hear any voiceover as voiceovers are not being used as much as before.
The dialogue included in the trailer tells us that the Apes did not want war, however, due to the humans blaming the Apes the trailer become more aggressive from when it started.

The mise-en-scene of the movie tells us that the Apes found a habitable area where they can live which is a wild forest, which then moves to a city in America. The props included in the movie are guns, horses and sharp sticks/spears.

In every trailer the editing is in a montage and also they do not give a resolution which makes the audience wait until the movie is released for them to find out what happens at the end. This movie's audiences are those who are Sci-fi fans and mostly those who have watched the first movie.
